Mr. M.S.CVhakravarty was born in Prncely State of
Mysore. He
is a graduate of Civil Engineering from the then Govt. Engineering
College
at Bangalore, the only College in Mysore State. He joined the
Public
Works Dept. of Bombay Presidency and continued till the retirement age
of 58, and retired as Deputy Secretary in Bombay Secretariat and
assistant to Chief Secretary.
During his service Hon. Rajaji, who took over from
British Govt.as
Governor General as the first and the last Governal General , paid a
visit
to the house at Nasik. His letter of ack. exibited here shows his high
discipline.
