Smt Vanaja is the youngest daughter of Smt Ambuja and Dr CSS Iyenger.
Vanaja retired as a Postal Assistant after serving in the Central
Postal department. She can be reached at vanaja.mahesh@gmail.com
Vanaja is married to Sri V. Mahesha who retired as a Deputy Director in
Karnataka State Department of Mines and Geology. His interests vary from
Homeopathy to Gem therapy. He can be reached at geomahesha@gmail.com .
Vanaja and Mahesha have three children:
1. Their eldest son Chi Deepak works in
Infosys technologies at Mysooru. He is an Electronics and Communication Engineer
from MCE, Hassan under Mysore University. You can reach him at
deepcom@gmail.com. He married Smt. Priya on 24th Dec 2004 and they now have
two kids – 2.5 years old Raaghava Samartha and a 3 month old daughter
Sanjanaa.
2. Their second daughter is Kum Chaitra.
She has done her graduation in Polymer Science Engineering from SJCE, Mysore.
She was an Mtech student at IIT, Delhi. She has also done her post graduate
project work at Aachen University in Germany. Chaitra's interests apart from
studies includes reading and playing basket ball. She has represented her
school and college at district and state level. She completed her PhD in
Material Science engineering in Dec' 07 from Clemson university. She is now
Dr. Chaitra B.E.,M.Tech.,M.S.,& Ph.D. She is the first lady from Ambuja’s
family to complete a doctoral degree.

3. The youngest daughter Kum Anagha has
completed 4 semesters of her M.S., Mass communication from BengaLooru
University. She completed her BA in journalism with top honours from NMKRV
college in BengaLooru. She is now working as an intern at Karnataka Power
Corporation Limited as part of her MA course.
After completing these she is now in USA University in Clemson since July
16th 2007, doing her research work.
She
has completed her PhD in dec' 07. She has become now Dr.Chaitra
B.E.,M.Tech.,M.S.,& Ph.D.

Second daughter, Anagha has completed 2 semesters of her M.S., journalism
with top honours.
