Mr.S.S.Iyengar,(Shyam) after medical graduation and specialisation
in Cardiology,, joined Air Force on the medical wing. He retired as Wing
Cmdr. After retirement he worked for various private organisations, and
now working in Dubai, Middle East.
His Mrs, Nirmala after graduation, joined the education field and continues.
He has one son Chi Sunil and one daughter Leena continuing their education.
Below is the photo of Shyam, Nirmala and Leena when young.
Update on March 2002
Dr.Shyam has taken up the post of Professor and Head of Cardiology
department in St. John's Medical College Hospital, Bangalore.
:Daughter Leena did her post graduation from
UK and is employed in the department of Environment (ERWDA), UAE
and is residing in Abu Dhabi with her family members.
Son sunil has completed his MBBS and is pursuing his studies in UK (bec.
his attachment in the hospital is only for a short time)
He is a full fledged doctor now and after completing his PLAB
I & II exams he is doing an attachment in William Harvey hospital,
Kent, UK..
